2024 International Conference on Digital Intelligence Management and
Innovation & 10th International Conference on Innovative Development
of E-commerce and Logistics (DIMI & ICDEL 2024) has been
successfully held on November 29- December 01, 2024, in Zhengzhou.
DIMI
& ICDEL 2024 brought together top scholars, industry experts and
representatives of scientific research institutions from home and abroad
to conduct in-depth discussions on cutting-edge topics such as digital
management, e-commerce, logistics and supply chain management, providing
an important platform for academic exchanges and industry innovation.
During
the opening ceremony, Xi Chen, Secretary of Party Committee, Secretary
of the Discipline Inspection Commission, Zhengzhou University, China,
delivered a welcome speech on behalf of Zhengzhou University. She fully
affirmed the important role played by digital management as the core of
the information and intelligent era in promoting academic exchanges and
technological innovation, introduced the important measures of Zhengzhou
University in the development of interdisciplinary research and
innovative education, and emphasized the importance of this conference
in promoting digital transformation and global academic cooperation.
Prof.
Yichuan Wang, Director of Center for Health Innovation, University of
Sheffield, UK, envisioned the prospect of digital management helping
enterprises to accurately understand market changes, optimize resource
allocation, and improve decision-making efficiency. He expressed his
blessing for the successful convening of the conference and looked
forward to further promoting technological innovation and academic
progress in the field of digital management through this conference. The
opening ceremony of the conference was hosted by Professor Shuying
Wang, Secretary of the Party Committee, the School of Management,
Zhengzhou University.
During
the keynote speeches, Prof. Samuel Fosso Wamba, Toulouse Business
School, France, delivered the keynote speech on Exploring Artificial
intelligence (AI) and Generative AI (Gen-AI) Capabilities in Operations
Management: Going from a bibliometric analysis to Empirical Studies,
which explored in depth the application of AI technology in operations
management.
President
Xu Jin, China Association of International Trade, delivered the keynote
speech on Emphasis on Digital Innovation to Empower International
Trade, which discussed the important role of digital innovation in
promoting the development of international trade.
Prof.
Victor Shi, Wilfrid Laurier University, Canada, delivered the keynote
speech on Supply Chain Structure and Blockchain Deployment in Competing
Supply Chains, which explored in depth the application of blockchain
technology in competitive supply chains and its impact on supply chain
structure.
Prof.
Tariq H. Malik, Liaoning University, China, delivered the keynote
speech on Survival Dynamics of SMEs in China's ICT and Semiconductor
Industries: An Analytical Perspective, which explored in depth the
development issues of small and medium-sized enterprises in China's ICT
and semiconductor industries.
Prof.
Yunkai Zhai, Dean of the School of Management, Zhengzhou University,
China, delivered the keynote speech on Cross-border E-commerce Industry
Belt Research Report, which provided participants with in-depth analysis
and forward-looking suggestions for the development of the cross-border
e-commerce industrial belt.
The
conference was set up four sessions to carry out in-depth discussions
on the fields of digital management science, management innovation,
e-commerce, logistics and supply chain management.
Session 1:
The Digital Management Science was hosted by Hongbing Jiang, Vice Dean
of the School of Management, Zhengzhou University. During this session,
Prof. Yichuan Wang, Director of the Centre for Health Innovation,
Sheffield University, UK, Prof. Jiewang Chu, Anhui University, and Dr.
Yuxiao Ye, Tianjin University delivered keynote speeches on Customizing
Large Language Model to Address Online Negative Reviews: A Theory-Driven
Design Science Approach, Impact of AIGC on Information Generation
Methods and User Information Behavior, and Harnessing the Power of
Transparency: Impact of IT Monitoring on Player Injury.
Session 2: The Management Innovation was hosted by Yanliang Zhang, Vice Dean of the School of Management, Zhengzhou University. During this session, Prof. Baoshan Ge, Jilin University, Prof. Xiumei Zhu, Guangdong University of Technology, Prof. Jinfa Li, Zhengzhou University, and Director Yue Liu, Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship Methods and Management, Zhengzhou University delivered keynote speeches on AI-embedded Entrepreneurial Model Construction, Data Platform Ecosystem and Digital Business Eco-system Co-evolution Mechanism, System Engineering Model for Efficient and Innovative Enterprises, and Different roles, Different Strokes: Disseminating E-WOM in Industrial Internet platform through Multi-actor Value Co-creation.
Session
3: The E-commerce was hosted by Meiguang Zhu, Vice Dean of the School
of Management, Zhengzhou University. During this session, Prof. Dandan
Wang, Henan University of Science and Technology, Assoc. Prof. Peng
Wang, Northwestern Polytechnical University, Prof. Bing Lei, Henan
University of Technology, and Assoc. Prof. Tingting Hou, Zhengzhou
University delivered keynote speeches on Trust Building in the Open Use
of Health and Medical Data, When Should a Manufacturer Use E-commerce
Platform's IoT Infrastructure or Build Its Own? The Role of Con-sumer
Privacy Concern, Current Status and Trends of Cross-border B2C Export
Development, and When Carrots and Sticks Meet: A Mixed-methods Study on
Internet Taxi Drivers' Job Engagement in the IT-driven Sharing Economy.
Session
4: The Logistics and Supply Chain Management was hosted by Huixin Liu,
Director of the Institute of Smart Operations and Supply Chain
Management, School of Management, Zhengzhou University. Prof. Shiqiang
Liu, Fuzhou University, Researcher Qianqian Zheng, Zhengzhou University,
and Dr. Mengli Li, Zhengzhou University delivered keynote speeches on A
Demand-responsive Two-echelon Assembly Inventory Management Model for A
Sustainable Port Terminal with Coal Mining Sites, Research on
Multi-objective Scheduling Optimization of Navigation Operations in the
Three Gorges Hub, and Research on the Introduction Strategy of Official
Second-hand Channels Under the Competition of Third-party Second Hand
Platforms.
During
the oral presentation, scholars present their latest research results,
covering cross-border e-commerce, artificial intelligence applications,
supply chain optimization and other fields.
